Bureau Veritas Presented Hydrogen industrial Chain Solutions at FCVC

2021 Jun 11

The 6th International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Congress (FCVC 2021) was held in Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center from June 8 to June 10, 2021. This conference gathered more than 7,000 experts and leaders in relevant industries, and Bureau Veritas, as a member of the Hydrogen Council, a board member of the China Hydrogen Alliance, and a third-party service provider of test, inspection, certification, and quality management for the entire hydrogen industrial chain, participated in the conference and delivered a series of presentations on hydrogen power.

The global energy industry is undergoing the third energy change oriented to low-carbon, carbon-free and low-pollution development. Hydrogen, as a new energy ranking third in the world's energy reserves, is a clean, safe and efficient exotic fuel with no waste and pollution in its functional process, and will be an important medium for energy transition.

BV has been engaged in the hydrogen industry for over 20 years and has over 70 hydrogen experts worldwide to provide a wide range of technical service support and solutions to help companies develop new energy projects in a safe and compliant manner. After joining the Hydrogen Council in 2020, BV, in 2021, launched a White Paper on Sustainable and Safe Development of Hydrogen to promote the sustainable and reasonable use of the earth's natural resources through project evaluation, risk management, compliance and performance measurement.

On June 8, Bureau Veritas and Peric Hydrogen signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, in an attempt to further expand the hydrogen market and establish a healthy and safe production environment. Through strategic reciprocity and strong alliance, BV will facilitate the integration of resources, expand business promotion and enhance technical services and equipment manufacturing for both parties.

Mr. Zhang Yuguang, General Manager of Peric, said that Peric has been deeply involved in the hydrogen industry for 5 decades, and this cooperation also brings new opportunities for the company's prospect.

Ms. Francis Yang, Vice President of Bureau Veritas, General Manager of Power and Industry, said that Bureau Veritas is concerned not only about clean energy, but more importantly, the quality and safety in energy transition. We hope that both parties will fully cooperate with each other to empower the hydrogen industry.

As a  B2B2S company, Bureau Veritas is committed to shaping a better world and protecting our planet through a "Green Line of services and solutions".
