  • What is LEED?

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a Green Building Rating System developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED provides a suite of standards for designing, constructing, and maintaining buildings in an environmentally sustainable way. LEED will award four levels of certification – Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

  • What are LEED Accredited Professional and LEED Green Associate?

The LEED Professional Exams are administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) for professionals seeking to earn credentials and certificates. The exams test knowledge based on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating Systems. There are three tiers in the LEED Professional Credentialing program: Tier 1: LEED Green Associate Tier 2: LEED Accredited Professional Tier 3: LEED Fellow [under development]
